BAT TESTING:

Contact Ben Kaul with questions

  • All bats must pass a compression test at 220psi. That applies for both USSSA 220 and 240 stamp bats.
  • After a bat passes the compression test a sticker will be placed on the bat which signifies that it has passed the compression test. IMPORTANT: You must have the sticker on the bat in order for the bat to be legal in game. If the sticker is removed for any reason the bat MUST be retested before it can be used again in game.
  • Bats will be tested 3 times throughout the season. Once to start the season, once at the halfway point, and again before playoffs. I will try my best to accommodate players that get new bats between the testing periods so you can use your new equipment. Please try to give me a heads up on when you want them tested and we will set up time to do so.
  • Please do your best to respect the results of the tester. I know a lot of you travel to tournaments and bats are tested that may pass on another machine. We can only go by the information that our tester gives us. Everyone’s bat has to go through the same tester. So regardless, it’s the same standard across the league.
